I am absolutely bummed that everyone seems to be predicting the demise of the Palm OS and Treo's. I love my Treo and so do thousands of others. I hope their efforts to develop a linux based OS are successful.

We'll see. As far as I am concerned, all software is vapor ware (meaning: it exists only in someone's vision but never actually exists in realty) until it is released. You'll notice I withheld comment on Google's announcement this week. We are not apart of Apple's development community and will not receive anything before February 14, so when the development environment is shipped, we will consider it.

Given that, as I have mentioned recently in a couple of posts, porting is problematic. The costs to develop -- time to develop it because the entire product must be ported to a brand new operating system with little or no code re-use -- is a major problem. We may explore alternatives...

so are you planning on porting over your calculator software over the the mobile mac os for the iphone and ipod touch when apple releases the sdk in february of next year? i use your calculators on the palm treo and they can't be beat. and the calculator on the ipod touch is so simplistic in functionality, it's not even funny.

looking forward to the ipod touch/iphone versions!
